Peru Project
Our community partner, Saparcon Bajo, is located in the Cajamarca region in northern Peru. The Peru Team is focused on improving Saparcon Bajo’s failing water distribution system that doesn’t provide enough potable water to meet the community’s needs. With the help of the local water board, the Municipality of San Marcos, and Peace Corp volunteers, the Peru Team is currently in the stage of conducting a remote assessment trip. The team will now shift its focus to planning an implementation trip in order to improve the communities spring box and chlorination system.
